WePlay Esports, an esports tournament organizer, announced a partnership with Parimatch, an online bookie. The deal also made Parimatch a partner of both the Ukrainian and Russian broadcasts of the WePlay Esports AniMajor tournament. The tournament is the second “major” in the Dota Pro Circuit and lasts from June 2 to June 13, 2021.

We look forward to working with partners for whom the quality of a world-class product is as important as it is for us,” Head of Business Development at WePlay Esports, Valentyn Shevchenko, commented. He added that, since AniMajor is an essential tournament of the DPC season, WePlay wants to hold its event at the highest level.

The WePlay Esports AniMajor this year will see 18 teams attempting to win the half-a-million-dollar worth of prize, together with 2,700 Dota Pro Circuit points. This tournament is also an excellent chance to qualify for The International, Valve’s upcoming tournament, which will be held in Stockholm, Sweden, this year. Since last year’s event was postponed indefinitely and essentially canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the stakes are even higher this year.

The Head of Esports at Parimatch, Stepan Shulga, also said that his company is confident this broadcast will set a new record in AniMajor viewership. The Russian and Ukrainian broadcasts amassed over 3 million views on YouTube and Twitch on the tournament’s first two days.

Parimatch is growing into a household name with its sports-related forecasts and predictions, updates and news about gaming tournaments, and even insider tips on betting with Bitcoin. Parimatch advice can come in handy if one decides to test their luck in a Bitcoin casino.

Parimatch has also secured partnerships with esports teams, including Virtus.pro, Fnatic, and Team Spirit. One of its most notable partnerships is with Tonya Predko – one of the top esports hosts who has recently taken on the role of Parimatch’s brand ambassador.
